Heavy snow is here now - with a bit more overnight. No St. Paul snow emergency yet.

After a layer of sleet and freezing rain, heavy snowfall has started in the Twin Cities area as the latest winter storm rolls in.

National Weather Service forecasters, as of 4:45 p.m., are predicting between one and two inches of snow per hour over the following several hours, before tapering off into light snowfall through Tuesday morning.
