A pothole primer: Expect them, slow down for them, report them

In the land of 10,000 potholes, the “hot mix” is king.

Unfortunately for drivers, St. Paul Public Works crews won’t be filling in potholes with the hot asphalt mix until temperatures climb a bit this spring, allowing the hardening agent in the mix to work its magic.
