Bemidji Pioneer: Cass Lake man pleads guilty to sex crime

BEMIDJI—A Cass Lake man who arranged to meet and have sex with a person he thought was a child pleaded guilty to a felony Feb. 22.

Court records show that Devyn John Bockwitz, 36, changed his plea and admitted to one count of engaging in electronic communication relating or describing sexual conduct with a child. He initially pleaded not guilty to the charge Dec. 15.
