Potentially treacherous snow and rain mix to hit Thursday-Friday

The National Weather Service is predicting that a sizable snowfall will descend upon the Twin Cities come Thursday.

A storm straight from the Rockies will likely hit after 3 p.m. Thursday — with an accumulation between three and five inches by the following morning in the metro area.
