Tribal leaders, the CHP come together to make reservation roads safer

CRESCENT CITY, Calif. — Tribal leaders with the Yurok Tribe and officers with the California Highway Patrol (CHP) have designed a new system for analyzing car crash statistics in order to make reservation roads safer for all drivers.

On Jan. 24, the CHP Crescent City Area and Yurok Tribe agreed to put in place a formal system designed to share information related to traffic collisions on tribal lands.
