Tulalip Tribes PD dedicated to providing quality services

The Tulalip Tribes Police Department (TPD) serves the Tulalip Reservation 24/7. The department is dedicated to providing quality services with an emphasis on trust, integrity, and respect for tribal culture and customs – with a mission to support the vision and sovereignty of the Tulalip Tribes.

TPD has five dispatch/communications staff that take more than 120,000 phone calls per year (Communications Officer is hiring, see tulaliptribes-nsn.gov). Officers are dispatched to more 24,000 calls each year and more than 4,000 reports are filed in tribal, federal, and state courts. 41 commissioned Officers patrol the 22,000 acre Tulalip Indian Reservation, which includes support for the 10,000 plus residents and the 50 to 75 thousand transit population visiting the Borough of Quil Ceda Village. Our Detectives unit completes follow-up investigations of crimes, including drug violations. Eight Fish and Wildlife staff ensure that Tulalip Tribes’ Treaty Rights are respected and followed by patrolling the usual and accustomed areas, both on water and land.
