Man shot in Maplewood as he attempted to rob liquor store, police say

A man was shot in Maplewood on Monday night while attempting to rob a liquor store, police say.

The man was one of two people who attempted to rob Princess Liquors in the 2700 block of Stillwater Road East shortly before 6:45 p.m., according to a news release issued by the Maplewood Police Department.
