Elizabeth Carrie Green, age 65, of Hastings, MN and formerly of Minneapolis, MN journeyed to the Spirit World on Friday, January 12, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on September 8, 1952 in Hayward, WI the daughter of Clarence W. and Irene J. (Bearheart) Green.

Elizabeth served the Native American community in South Minneapolis for 45 years. She was formerly employed at the American Indian O.I.C. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, potlucks, playing bingo and going to the casino. Elizabeth also was a softball pitcher for many years.

Survived by her son Eric (Britt) Green of Hastings, her daughter Sandra (Bob Washington) Green of Brooklyn Park, grandchildren Jada Green and Ava Green; Dallas Quinn Jr., Alarah Quinn, Jordana Quinn, Shahday Quinn, Latrell Washington, Leiyah Washington and Shamiya Washington; sisters Sandra Odeen, Karen Gryczowski, Beverly Brown, Julie Green, Gail Saice and Irene Green; many nieces and nephews; other relatives including the Bearheart family.

Preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Irene Green and by a sister Thresa Green.

Funeral services for Elizabeth Green will be held on Wednesday, January 17 at 3:00 PM at All Nations Church, 1515 East 23rd Street, Minneapolis, MN 55404. David Saice Sr. is officiating and Lee Smith will be the vocalist.

All-night wake begins at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at All Nations Church.

Casket Bearers will be Steven Odeen, Noah Bradford, Elliot Brown, Tony Rzeszutek, Joe Odeen and Steve LeBlanc.
