Bemidji Pioneer: Poor road conditions in Bemidji area result in 30 accidents, one fatal

WILTON -- A Solway woman died in one of 30 accidents in the Bemidji area on Monday, according to the Bemidji Police Department and the Minnesota State Patrol.

“Drivers are encouraged to slow down and use extreme caution while traveling in the

Bemidji area,” Bemidji Police Chief Mike Mastin said in a press release Monday afternoon. “There are numerous reports of black ice and poor road conditions throughout the area.”
