Mother calls sentence for man in now-paralyzed son's shooting an 'injustice'

Seven years isn’t enough prison time to pay for what Deandre Lavonne Johnson took from her son, Jamie Hotchkiss said in court Monday.

In fact, it’s not even close, Hotchkiss told Ramsey County District Judge Nicole Starr during Johnson’s sentencing hearing.
