It's winter, all right, with frigid conditions through Wednesday, and possible snow Thursday and Friday

The temperatures didn’t get above zero Monday, creating dangerous wind-chill conditions — and we’re in for more of the same with a high around zero on Tuesday and barely into the single digits on Wednesday.

A minor warm-up is in the offing after that, with temperatures in the teens on Thursday and Friday. Thursday, however, could bring an inch or two of snow. An additional sprinkling of snow is possible on Friday.
