Winter is coming to the Twin Cities - and you're going to notice

When winter officially arrives on Thursday, Twin Cities residents are definitely going to notice.

Although the metro enjoyed a (comparatively) balmy high of 42 degrees on Monday, temperatures will drop off steadily throughout the week, said Jacob Beitlich, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Chanhassen.
