Friday 12-15-17: Out of an abundance of caution, White Earth Tribal Government is notifying citizens that last night and this morning, in the Mahnomen and Nay Tah Waush areas, there were multiple overdose events. Four victims, at various locations, required rescue response. White Earth Overdose Response Team will provide naloxone rescue supplies and naloxone training in White Earth village at the Tribal Health Department building this afternoon. They will be available tomorrow, Saturday December 16, 2017, in Rice Lake-old community center, Mahnomen-mental health building, Nay Tah Waush-at the Sports Complex, and in White Earth village-substance abuse building, from 10am to 2pm. Please help save lives-become a naloxone rescuer and keep your naloxone kit stocked and ready! Your life is important and help is available. Just ask, we're here. Watch for further news updates.
