Officer fires gun during Blaine domestic incident; suspect in custody

Anoka County sheriff’s officials said an officer fired a gunshot while responding to a domestic disturbance in Blaine, but no one was struck.

The sheriff’s office said Monday that two Centennial police officers responded to a call around 7 p.m. Sunday in the 3200 block of 91st Curve Northeast about a man who was threatening others with a butcher knife and also had a handgun.
