JoLeen Marie Paul-Wilson, 43, of Cass Lake, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in her home. She was born on June 24, 1974 in Cass Lake to Lois White and Melvin Burnette. Joleen was a blackjack dealer for Leech Lake Gaming and was a former dealer at Mystic Lake Casino.

She was a super Mom and Auntie, who loved her daughter, Malayah and special niece, Olivia very much. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and nieces and nephews, music, and Spanish music. Joleen was very determined with whatever she was going to do, and was very generous and big hearted.

Those she will join are her step-father, Richard White, aunt, Rosie Brown, grandmother, Emma Burnette, cousin, Dora "Biskit" Keezer, uncles, Kippy Wilson, Bobby Wilson and Delmer "Joe" Staples and niece JoDee Mae Hope Ducheneaux.

Those she leaves behind are her husband, Christopher Paul; daughter, Malayah Wilson; mother, Lois White; father, Melvin Burnette; special niece, Olivia Ducheneaux; brothers, Joseph (Connie) Wilson Sr., Benjamin (Raechel) White Sr., Alvin (Pam) White, Marvin White and Calvin White; sisters, Delia Mae (Joseph Dx) White, Becky Gregory and Margaret Brown; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A wake for Joleen will begin at 7 PM Saturday, December 9, 2017 in the Veterans Memorial Building at Cass Lake. The wake will continue until her funeral service Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Father George Ross will officiate. Pallbearers for Joleen will be, Fred Keithley, Alex Ducheneaux, Traci Benjamin, Nicole Staples-Michaud, Michael Allen and Alvin White. Alternate pallbearer will be Michael Harrison. Honorary bearers will be Hailey White, Raechel Premo, Joe Ducheneaux, Josiah White, Benjamin White Jr., Olivia Ducheneaux, Joseph Wilson Jr. and Pam Mitchell.

Following her service, Joleen will be laid to rest at Prince of Peace Cemetery, Cass Lake/ Mission, Minnesota.
