Red Lake Lady Warriors go 2-0 on season with 81-41 win over Fosston at Bemidji Sanford Center

The defending Section 8A Champion Red Lake Warriors improved their record to 2-0 with an impressive 81-41 win over the Fosston Greyhounds Friday night in Bemidji.

The Warriors had four players in double figures with Angel McClain, Autumn Holthusen and Alexis Desjarlait all scoring 16 points. Brianna Vig led Fosston with 14 points as the Greyhounds drop to 0-3 on the season.

The Warriors hit eight three pointers and led 49-22 at halftime. The Warriors led by as many as 45 points in the second half and never trailed in the game.

Red Lake will return to action on Tuesday, December 5th when they travel to Nevis to face the Tigers.

The Greyhounds will also return to action on Tuesday, December 5th when they travel to Ada to face the Ada-Borup/Norman County West Cougars (6:00 pm on 106.5 FM). The Greyhounds will have the unusual distinction of playing back to back games against two teams that played in last years State Tournament.
