Corey Bush Sr., age 34, of Mahnomen, MN, died Sunday, November 5, 2017. Corey James Bush was born on June 4, 1983 to Debra Bush in Park Rapids, MN. He grew up in Akley for a brief amount of time before moving to Dilworth with family, and then returning to the Mahnomen and Naytahwaush area. He graduated from Mahnomen High School, and attended vocational school for carpentry. Corey worked at the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen as a cook and then a slot technician. In 2008, Corey began a relationship with Elizabeth LaFriniere. The couple was blessed with two children, and assisted in raising their nieces and nephews. Corey worked at the Ranch in the White Earth Food Distribution Warehouse for the past three years, and recently had started working at Dean Villebrun Construction. Corey and Liz were united in marriage on September 3, 2016. Spending time with his kids and family was Corey's true passion. He spent many times ricing with family. He loved getting out into the woods and near the lakes to take in nature's beauty. Corey was a quiet guy who enjoyed making jokes, watching ridiculous television shows, and making everyone around him laugh. Those who knew him witnessed his loving nature and contagious laugh. He will be remembered and loved by all who knew him. Corey is survived by his wife, Elizabeth LaFriniere-Bush; his children, Corey James Bush Jr., Aryanna Mae Bush, Destane Jewel Londo, and Hannah "Nans" Londo; his special niece, Fawn Roy; his parents, Debra Bush and Mike Roy; his father-in-law, Floyd LaFriniere; his brothers, Michael "Beez" (Kayla) Bush, Shaun (Shauna) Bush, Travis (Sarah) Roy, and James Roy; his sister, Kay Roy; his sisters-in-law, Bambi (Jim) Roy and Jody Londo; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Loris Londo-LaFriniere, and his grandparents: Louise Rock, Leonard Bush, Ardyce McCradie, Donald Roy.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Naytahwaush Sports Complex, Naytahwaush, MN. Visitation will be held at the Naytahwaush Sports Complex beginning at 5:00 PM on Friday, November 10, 2017 continuing until the service on Saturday. A prayer service will take place at 7:00 PM on Friday.
