Twin Cities to get early taste of winter weather Thursday
November 9, 2017
The Twin Cities will get an early taste of winter weather on Thursday and Friday with highs in the 20s, according to the National Weather Service.
After a dusting of light snow Wednesday night, St. Paul and Minneapolis can expect a brisk northwest wind of 10 to 15 miles per hour to make Thursday’s unseasonably cold weather even more biting, said Lisa Schmit, a meteorologist with the NWS in Chanhassen. Thursday’s high of 23 is about 20 degrees colder than average, she said.
