DWI suspect had 3 children in car, slams into parked cars, police say

Three young children were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after their driver hit multiple parked cars and was arrested, police said. The driver was thought to be under the influence of alcohol.

Officers were sent to 899 Rice St. near Manitoba Avenue around 9:20 p.m. Monday on a vehicle crash with injuries call. Koua Vang, 30, of St. Paul, had hit three parked vehicles, according to a police report.
