1 man dead after shooting in North Minneapolis

A man was shot to death Monday evening in North Minneapolis, police say.

Officers responded shortly after 6 p.m. to reports of a shooting at Lyndale and 47th avenues, where they found the victim, according to a news release issued by the Minneapolis Police Department. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
