The exciting moments of pregnancy turned to sorrow for Shannen Wibbels and Charles VanWert, of Elbow Lake, MN, with the death of their precious baby girl, Shaylinn Mae VanWert, on Friday, October 27, 2017, at Essentia Health St. Mary's in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Shaylinn is survived by her parents, Shannen Wibbels and Charles VanWert; her brothers: Jaysun and Dereck; sisters: Alyssa, Desirae and Manajiwin; grandparents: Hayley Anderson, Alvin Anderson Jr., Michael (Callie) Rabideau, LaDonna Anderson and Harold VanWert; great-grandparents, Donna Anderson and Marion and Vaughn Wibbels; aunts and uncles: Nakoya, Corey and Carrie VanWert, Thomas (Christina) Rabideau, Hunter Anderson, Tyler Rabideau and Wyatt Rabideau; and great-uncle, James Anderson. She was preceded in death by great-grandpa, Alvin Anderson Sr.; and aunt Taylor Rabideau.

A private family service will be held.
