Early morning shooting injures woman in downtown St. Paul

St. Paul police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in the 400 block of St. Peter Street in downtown.

A woman crossing Seventh Street toward St. Peter Street was shot about 3:30 a.m., according to a St. Paul Police Department spokesman.
