Two women were sprayed in the face with a chemical irritant during attempted robberies in the area of St. Paul’s Como Regional Park this past week, police said Tuesday. One of the women was also sexually assaulted.

Police said they’ve noted the similarities in the cases, which occurred about an hour apart, and are investigating whether they involve the same suspects.
