St. Paul marks its sixteenth homicide after a man is shot to death on North End

A man is dead after a shooting in St. Paul’s North End neighborhood, marking the city’s 16th homicide this year, according to police.

The victim was dropped off at Regions Hospital in St. Paul about 5:30 a.m. with at least one gunshot wound, said Sgt. Mike Ernster, public information officer for the St. Paul Police Department, where the man later died.
