Bemidji, Minn. -The Beltrami Electric Cooperative Trust Board for Operation Round Up® met recently and awarded 22 grants to area nonprofit and community organizations totaling $23,357.56.
Operation Round Up® is a charitable program unique to electric cooperatives and is designed to give members a means of working together to use their small change to make a big impact in their local communities.
The Trust Board for Operation Round Up® meets quarterly to review applications for grants and disburse funds. Funding guidelines and grant applications are available at the BEC office or by visiting http://www.beltramielectric.com. The next quarterly application deadline is September 30, 2017.
