Annual Spring Fling held in Redby - P12

The Redby Community Annual Spring Fling was held in Redby on Saturday, June 17, 2017.

The Redby Community Coordinators & Redby Community Board would like to thank all the volunteers who worked and brought food to the the 2017 Spring Fling BBQ Contest that was held at the Art Thunder Memorial Ballpark this past Saturday June 17th. We had 470 registered for the event 7 registered for the BBQ contest and 28 in total registered for the tug a war challenge which Team 7 Clans won Red Lake Food Distribution taking the traveling trophy back with them winning again for the 2nd year in a row.

We would like to say a special thank you to all the programs that contributed to making this years spring fling a success, Red Lake Public Safety, Red Lake Detention Center, Red Lake Chemical Health, Red Lake Housing Authority, Pepsi Nei Bottling, Big Al & Jim for doing the fish again this year, Red Lake Propane for providing the public safety officers the propane to cook all the burgers and hotdogs on the grill, and everyone who brought there favorite dish. A special thanks to the Red Lake Community Coordinator for doing the dance contest and providing the prizes, the LittleRock Community Coordinators for doing the balloons for the kids, The Red Lake Nation Youth Council members that volunteered to work the event until the very end and cleaning up the fields after it was all said and done. Dan and Brandon couldn't have done it without all your help.
