Bemidji Pioneer: Charge dropped for Puposky man accused of sex crime
June 13, 2017
BEMIDJI -- A felony charge against a Puposky, Minn., man accused of sexual assault was dropped last week after test results “compromised” the prosecutor's case, court documents say.
Richard Leif Erickson, 20, is no longer charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct. A dismissal by prosecutor Dave Frank states that a “forensic analysis of evidence produced results that have compromised the State’s ability to prove this case beyond a reasonable doubt.”
