Once appearing near settlement, Wind River legal dispute drags on

Recent developments in the legal dispute between the Northern Arapaho Tribe and federal government on the Wind River Reservation in central Wyoming suggest a resolution may not be near after all.

The tribe and the Bureau of Indian Affairs moved to settle in March, after a federal judge ruled in favor of the Arapaho in several key aspects of the case last fall that deals with how federal money is distributed to the tribes.
