Man holding gun found shot dead south of downtown Minneapolis; no arrests

A man was found shot to death early Sunday just south of downtown Minneapolis, police said.

Officers were directed to Park Avenue and E. 16th Street about 1:10 a.m. by a caller to 911 who said “the man was holding a handgun,” a statement from police read.
