Bemidji, Minn. - Beltrami Electric Cooperative recently presented Oak Hills Christian College with a conservation rebate for the new Thompson Hall. The project utilized the cooperative's PowerSavers program by installing innovative efficiencies such as mini-split A/C units, Energy Star clothes washers and refrigerators as well as LED lighting. The PowerSavers program offers incentives for cooperative members who make qualifying conservation improvements. Beltrami Electric supports the wise use of electricity and utilizes programs such as PowerSavers to help meet a state mandate that electric utilities incentivize energy conservation.
