Authorities investigating fatal shooting on Pine Ridge

Local and federal police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation over Memorial Day weekend.
The shooting happened Saturday afternoon near Kyle, Assistant Special Agent in Charge Robert Perry said Tuesday. He declined to provide additional details, such as victim information, citing the need to first inform the victim’s family.
