Bemidji Pioneer: Beltrami Commissioners discuss department staffing

BEMIDJI -- Department staffing was the main topic at the Beltrami County Board of Commissioners meeting Tuesday, as the matter was brought forward by both law enforcement and public health officials.

For law enforcement, Beltrami County Emergency Manager and 911 Supervisor Chris Muller gave a presentation on why the department is considering a restructuring. Currently, the department has one communications supervisor, six full-time communication officers, five part-time communication officers and two casual communications officers.
