Cook's 3-pointer with 8 seconds on clock secures Consolation Trophy for Warriors 56-55 over Central Minnesota Christian

A three-pointer from Jamie Cook with nine seconds remaining in regulation secured the consolation trophy for the Red Lake Warriors (27-5). They defeated Central Minnesota Christian of Prinsburg (27-5) 56-55.

Robert Beaulieu III put the Warriors up 53-52 on two free throws with 44 seconds left in the game, but the Bluejays' Ethan Brouwer countered quickly with a three-pointer on the other end with 26 seconds remaining. That set up Cook's last shot.

Rob McClain Jr. led Red Lake with 16 points and seven rebounds. He also had six assists, one block, and four steals. Cook and Kendall Whitefeather added 12 points apiece for the Warriors. Brouwer had a game-high 21 points for Central Minnesota Christian and he also corralled 10 rebounds. Matthew Van Eps tallied 18 points, four assists, and one steal for Central Minnesota Christian.
