Peterson statement on WOTUS order

WASHINGTON – Congressman Collin C. Peterson today made the following statement after the Trump Administration ordered the EPA to reconsider Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS).

“I applaud the Administration for taking actions to stop the Waters of the U.S. rule which would further burden farmers, ranchers and rural businesses. Today’s announcement is the first step needed to bring much needed relief and I will continue to support efforts in Congress to provide certainty for agriculture producers.”
