Like his co-defendant, a man accused in the strangling death of a Pine Ridge woman last year has signed a plea deal, but court documents in his case tell a much different version of her killing — including who actually strangled her.
Fred Quiver, 30, is charged in U.S. District Court with first-degree murder and accessory to first-degree murder in the death of Emily Bluebird, 24, in January 2016. He signed a deal with federal prosecutors Feb. 17, agreeing to plead guilty to being an accessory to second-degree murder, punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
