Sex offender moves to Bemidji

BEMIDJI-A level three sex offender has moved to the Bemidji area according to a news release from the Bemidji Police Department.

Randall Dean Adams, 47, was released in 2011 but moved to Bemidji on Monday, Feb. 13. Adams is listed as homeless on a fact sheet posted to the police department's Facebook page. He was convicted of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a helpless or mentally impaired victim in 2009 in Hubbard County.

Adams is described as a 5-foot-7-inch, 178-pound American Indian male with brown eyes and black hair. He is not wanted by police as he has served the sentence imposed on him by the court.
