Patrick Long (Zobatisnahqwenagwub), 82 of Red Lake, MN died on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Neilson Place in Bemidji, MN.

Traditional Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the Little Rock Center in Red Lake.  A wake will begin on Monday, February 13, 2017 and continue until the time of services.  Interment will be at St. Mary’s cemetery in Red Lake.  The Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji assisted the family. 

He was born April 29, 1934 in Red Lake, MN the son of Patrick and Cordelia (Sitting) Long.  For most of his life he was a part of pow-wows; singing, dancing and drumming.

He is survived by his daughters; Dee Shabaiash and Candace “Marie” Shabaiash; son, Gordon Long; brothers, Bradley Long, Ron Long, Larry Long and Charles Martin and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Rod, daughter Cordelia and sisters Barbara Strong and Kathy Long Kingbird.
