14 years in prison for man who kept woman captive for 30 minutes

BAY CITY, MI -- A 41-year-old Mount Pleasant man was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison Thursday for holding his estranged wife captive for 30 minutes.

Michael C. Jackson was sentenced Jan. 26 at the U.S. District Court in downtown Bay City to 14 years in federal prison for unlawful imprisonment, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.
