WASHINGTON – Native American leaders from North Dakota and Minnesota have been appointed by President Obama to serve on a national commission aimed at improving lives of Native American children.
Russ McDonald, president of United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck, and Anita Fineday, former chief judge for the White Earth Tribal Nation in Minnesota, were appointed to serve on the Alyce Spotted Bear and Walter Soboleff Commission on Native Children.
