Second violent death of new year reported on Fort Hall reservation

FORT HALL — An individual is in custody in connection to the death of a woman on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation late Tuesday night.

Both the FBI and Fort Hall Police Department are investigating. The FBI is calling the woman’s death a homicide.

Fort Hall police are not releasing the name of the victim or the name of the individual who is in custody.
