Woman says Pueblo employer sexually abused and underpaid her

A San Luis Valley woman who says she was recruited to work at a Pueblo recreational vehicle service center on the promise that she would be given a house, has sued the owner of the business, claiming he took advantage of her naiveté, underpaying her for years and touching her sexually.

Stephanie Lopez on Wednesday filed a federal civil lawsuit in Denver U.S. District Court against Carl Edwards, the owner of JDL Trailer Sales in Pueblo, which provides parts and service for trailers and recreational vehicles.
