All night beginning at 5 P.M.

Jonathan Tyrone Barbour “Ma ‘iinganains” “Little Wolf”, age 25, of Minneapolis, Minnesota journeyed to the Spirit World on Saturday, December 31, 2016. He was born on December 2, 1991 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Abel Chaparro and Bonnie Barbour.

Jonny was too smart for his own good. He instantly became friends with anyone he met. His family and many friends enjoyed the stories he had to share about everything. He greatly enjoyed his time with friends and family, especially with his son, Jonny Jr.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Barbour; father, Abel Chaparro; and cousins, Marlene Weyaus, Dominic Sam and Paige Mitchell.

Jonny is survived by his twin sons, Thomas and Charles Harrison; son, Jonathan Tyrone Barbour Jr.; siblings, Lili (Vinay) Tiwari, Edwardo Lopez, Andrew Barbour, Nicole Chaparro, Juan Chaparro, Abel Chaparro Jr., Sheena Keezer, Tiara Keezer, and Russel Keezer; grandmother, Darlene Barbour; uncle and aunt, Al and Liz Peterson; and many cousins, family and friends.

An all-night wake will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017 beginning at 5 PM at Church of Blessed Kateri, 3045 Park Avenue, Minneapolis, MN.

Funeral services for Jonathan Barbour will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Church of Blessed Kateri in Minneapolis, MN. Officiating is Herb Sam. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.

Honorary casket bearers are Darlene Barbour, Eduardo Lopez, Andrew Barbour, LiLi Tiwari, Renee Weyaus, Nicole Chaparro, Abel Chaparro, Juan Chaparro and Carlos Sargent.

Casket bearers are Vinay Tiwari, Robert Sam, Andre Amos, Shaun Kihega, Jay Applebee, Marcus Rainey, Richard Starkey and Jimmie Harrison.
