Patricia "Patsy" Rose (Lussier) Maxwell, 71 of Red Lake, MN died Friday, December 30, 2016 at Red Lake Hospital in Red Lake.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Red Lake with Fr. Jerry Rogers officiating. A wake will begin at 4:00 pm, Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Little Rock Center and continue until the time of service on Wednesday. Interment will be at the St. Mary's cemetery in Red Lake, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji.

She was born January 8, 1945 in Red Lake the daughter of John and Edith (Graves) Lussier, Sr. She became an LPN in 1983 working in Red Lake and Minneapolis. She enjoyed being with her family, going to the casino and watching her game shows. She loved to shop; especially for shoes and purses.

She is survived by her 5 sons: Byron (Vanessa) Deegan, Louis (Rena) Deegan. Daryl Maxwell, Wilbert (Shannon) Maxwell, Jr. and Joseph Maxwell; 1 sister: Connie (Clayton) Oothoudt; 4 brothers: Dale (Stephanie) Graves, Franklin Brown, Morris Smith, Adrian (Darlene) Lussier; 33 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbert Maxwell, Sr., parents, grandson Joseph Maxwell, Jr.; great granddaughter Paris Beaulieu-Hanks, 3 sisters Roberta Lussier, Paulette Graves and Noreen Varney; 3 brothers Paul Joe Graves, Gordon Lussier and John Lussier, Jr.

Honorary casketbearers will be Debra Garrigan, Ethel Smith, Marian Martin, Shanelle Sigana, Patricia Holmes, Sharon Lussier, Eugenia Ryan, Jane Ryan Tarnow and all her grandchildren.

Active casketbearers will be William Pemberton, Jr., Shawn Martin, Anthony "Pudgy" Deegan, Travis Deegan, Franklin Holmes and Jordan Deegan. Alternates will be Jacob Deegan, Louis Deegan, Jr., Durand Johns, Michael Bunker, Jr., Josh Deegan, Keith Deegan, and Phillip Lussier.
