Boil order in effect for some residents on the Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation

GREAT FALLS - Nearly 2,000 residents on the Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation will remain under a boil order for another two weeks until water service is restored.

Tribal officials say several broken pipes last week caused running water to be cut off to about 500 homes on the reservation.

Nearly half of the residents are affected on the Reservation, which lies 40 miles south of the Canadian border in Hill and Chouteau counties.
