Media availabilities will take place at the Minneapolis and St. Paul Toy Shop events this week
West Des Moines, Iowa (Dec. 20, 2016) — Hy-Vee, Inc. has partnered with the Twin Cities Salvation Army to hand out more than 5,700 Hormel® Cure 81® hams to families in need this holiday season. The donation is valued at approximately $170,000 and represents 57,000 pounds of ham. The food is being provided to families in need during the Salvation Army’s annual Toy Shop events throughout the metro area. Hy-Vee received the hams through a partnership with Hormel Foods. This donation is the largest donation Hormel Foods has ever provided to Hy-Vee through its charitable program. The organizations involved will host a media availability this Wednesday in Minneapolis and this Thursday in St. Paul.
