Zaylee Xaye Kalvelage, 2 ½ months, of Walker, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, December 13, 2016. She was born in Bemidji, MN on September 24, 2016, the only daughter of Jessica Lynn Kalvelage and Antonio Dewayne Brown.

Zaylee was a very happy little girl, who was always smiling and laughing. She loved to watch her brothers play and constantly tried to join in. Zaylee was a busy girl, dancing and trying to talk with everyone. She was a big eater and knew exactly what the bib coming over her head meant. Zaylee was born a water baby, giggling every time she was in the water. She loved to stick her tongue out at everybody but her absolute favorite was cuddling with her mom and dad.

Though your time with us very short, we will never forget your precious face and we will forever miss you.

Zaylee joins her Grandpa Bernie Kalvelage in heaven.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her parents; Jessica and Antonio, her brothers; Axton Blaze Kalvelage, Judge Matthew-Ada Poe and D'Angelo Dewayne Brown, grandparents; Jodi Marie Sandberg and Kelly Melloon, great grandparents; David and Bonnie Boysen, aunties; Amanda Melloon and Hannah Losee, uncle; Brandon Melloon and cousins; Destini Melloon, Trinaty Denton, Nevaeh Denton, Ayden Melloon, Ryder Melloon and Kyzer Melloon.

Funeral services for Zaylee will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2016 at Northern Peace Funeral Home in Walker. Visitation will start at 2 hours prior to services at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Lynn Strandt will officiate. Pallbearers for Zaylee will be Jessica Kalvelage, Antonio Brown, Jodi Sandberg, Brandon Melloon, Amanda Melloon and Destini Melloon. At the family's request, cremation will follow services and Zaylee will remain forever with her family.
