ANOKA, Minn. -- Authorities say an 18-year-old woman trying to get to a commuter rail platform in the northern suburbs apparently slipped in the snow and was fatally struck by a freight train.
The Anoka County sheriff’s office on Tuesday identified the victim as Danielle Rogers of Champlin.
Authorities say Rogers was at the Anoka Station on Sunday morning to catch the Northstar commuter rail to her job in Bloomington.
