Reginald Solomon Taylor "Bibooni Mukwa", age 40, of Minneapolis Journeyed to the Spirit World on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Hennepin County Medical Center.

He was born on May 21, 1976 in Cass Lake, Minnesota the son of Robert Taylor and Phyllis Spears.

Reginald was formerly employed as a glass installer.

He was always laughing and smiling and had a good sense of humor. He was super funny! He loved kids and loved joking around with them. Reginald loved his daughter and would do anything for her. He Loved to give! Anything he had, he would often give away to those that needed it. He went out of his way to help everyone no matter what. He loved cooking for family and friends. He was a very hard worker and always had to stay busy. Reginald wanted to learn where he came from culturally. He often talked about his desire to learn more about wild ricing, ice fishing, sugar bushing and other language and cultural activities. He loved taking pictures and listening to music. He loved his phone and selfies; he was the "Selfie King". Reginald loved his family very much! He had respect for his family and friends and looked up to his older brother. We will miss him and his love dearly!

Survived by his mother: Phyllis Skeie; brothers: Nathaniel Taylor and Robert Greene; his daughter: Kaylliana; sisters: Coral Taylor, Terra Taylor, Marjorie Skeie and Rachael Taylor; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by a brother: Tecumseh Taylor, his father Robert Taylor and step father Alan Skeie.

An all night wake will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 beginning at 6:00 P.M. at All Saints Episcopal Church in Minneapolis. An all night wake will be held on Wednesday, November 2nd beginning at 5:00 P.M. and Thursday November 3rd beginning at 7:00 P.M. at The Red Lake Community Center.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 4th at 10:00 A.M. at The Red Lake Community Center. Spiritual Advisor Anna Gibbs (Waasabiik) "Moon Light Shimmering on the water" Interment will follow at The Marilyn Spears family Cemetery in Red Lake, Minnesota.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Nate Taylor, Harlan Spears, Omar Al Hakeem, Chester Spears and Anthony Al Hakeem.

Casket Bearers Alex Neadeau, Ajidamo Taylor, Cyrus Taylor, Ali Al Hakeem, Gary Spears, George Spears Jr., Joseph Spears, Jr. Brun and Bruce Johns.
