Bemidji woman charged with stabbing

BEMIDJI—A Bemidji woman has been charged with second-degree assault after officers arrested her in connection with a stabbing.

According to a criminal complaint against Christina Lindbom-Pond, 25, officers responded Friday to the 900 block of 26th Street Northwest after receiving a report of an adult female stabbing victim.

When officers arrived at the scene, according to the complaint, they found the victim sitting in a chair outside a residence holding a cloth against her left side. An officer saw a 1-inch puncture wound to the victim's side. The victim said Lindbom-Pond had stabbed her.
