Two Republicans on Senate Committee on Indian Affairs Pull Support for Trump

WASHINGTON — One day after the release of a video from 2005 that captured the Republican presidential nominee speaking in lewd and vulgar terms about women, Republicans are pulling their support for his quest to become the next president of the United States. By Saturday evening two dozen GOP lawmakers had withdrawn their support of Trump or have asked for him to give up his quest for the presidency.

Among the two dozen are two Republican members of the U.S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs to the list. Senators John McCain and Lisa Murkowski will not endorse Trump for president.

McCain was the 2008 Republican presidential nominee.
